The Monster Hunter series is coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Monster Hunter: Dynamic Hunting is quite different than other games in the series. You’re locked on a one-on-one fight with a monster and your finger is your greatest weapon, as seen in this video from Famitsu.

Players tap on a monster to attack and swipe with two fingers to dodge. When you’re about to get hit with a tail swipe you can hold two fingers on the screen to block. Touch screen item icons let players use recovery items.

Monster Hunter: Dynamic Hunting is slated for release this June.

After seeing games like NOVA I know for sure that CAPCOM could of made it a whole lot better, but whatever, it's an iPhone game...

I lol'd, hard. I kinda wanna share the story about the last time a girl said that to me but I feel it might be borderline against the rules.

I must get it. I hope it comes here because that looks fun.
I just hope every boss fight isn't as quick and simple as that one.

How to jump slash though?

How to charge hammah and run around?

Second thoughts on how they're going to execute this.

Interesting.

What is also interesting is how everyone usually acts like its the end of the world when MH jumps ship, but for the IPhone is okay...

Sell them to Japanese business men for top dollar.

I shall be buying this app straight away, provided its not $9.99 or over.

It might be worth that. So there's going to be a U.S. release on this right?

Hopefully...It is on the i-Phone. I'd be surprised if it wasn't released over here.

Errr... Well I think I'll be the first to say it, but this looks TERRIBLE. There is no way I could get ANY enjoyment out of playing this. I love my iPhone, and I love Monster Hunter, but this is a savage butchering of the series. Those controls are hopeless, it seems much more like a traditional turn based RPG than anything else (obviously with action elements)

I'm playing this right now on my iPhone.

HR 2 atm, and it's actually pretty deep, and you can move around during fights unlike infinity Blade.
Actually this game is better than Infinity Blade even though the fighting system is comparable, and the fighting system itself is a bit more dynamic as the title suggest. xD

You can farm materials buy gear/weapons upgrade em, just about everything xD.

Definitely worth the buy!

PS: It's completely in English!
