The second set kills him faster, but I really wanted Razor Sharp. You think there's a way to get Razor Sharp on the second set with a weapon that has one or less slots? I apparently don't need Guard +2 all that badly. His attacks don't hit that hard anyway. I really want that first set, but with the ability to use the Alatreon Gleam.

I'm almost, ALMOST willing to ditch Guard altogether for Razor and Sharpener, which would make this set so much more do-able, lol.

EDIT: Do you think I could get seven carves in when I defeat Ceadeus? The only reason I wanted Speed Gatherer was for that reason. Is it not necessary? I haven't tried it without it. :/

I am sure you can get 7 carves in before the time limit stops you because you can carve Jhen a total of 8 times before time runs out (without speed gatherer)

The best one for supporting players would be the Status Attack Up Gunner Set. With the right kind of gun you can successfully paralyze, sleep, and poison more than 2 times each per quest.
