Perhaps we should have an option when visiting another person's page to filter out comments and/or shouts made by that person? Just a helpful option for those with trouble physically ignoring things like flamers and would rather not see them in the first place :) Banning is of course an option, but wouldn't it be a better place if we could choose not to even see sources of conflict?

You can change your profile page so people can only make posts on there with your permission.

You do see their comment but no one else does unless you approve it.

I meant more like around someone else's profile page, near 'Find my content/Add me as a friend/Send me a message' an option like 'Block User :(' so throughout the forums you didn't see that person's post, regardless of who else saw it.

maybe as a more mature alternative to forced/intervening moderation, just make it where you don't see the other person's posts, and move on. Don't know if it can easily be done, but there are many Internet Relay Chat systems with an ignore list/blacklist, so just wondering if this place can implement one.

Try going into your own profile, going to EDIT PROFILE, click on MANAGE IGNORED USERS, add the person that you wish to block, and accept the IGNORE POST button?

I just did a quick ignoring of Semaj for testing and I got this message when I found his post.

"This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by SemajChaos . View it anyway?"
