What's so good about Pony?It not the fact that it a kid show (HECK,I EVEN WATCH DORAEMON).I seen an episode it pretty much like the what cartoon about fairy girls.

Never seen it, but I know it's got a LOT of creepy dudes into it who call themselves bronies, and there's a ton of disturbing rule34 of them, and parody works. It's got a fairly large niche where it's very popular. I suppose it's funny when you give it a chance, because I can't imagine people just watch it for the "8 year old girl cute factor".

Depends on what season you watched. The early ones ARE so girly it makes you change the channel but the latest one is made by people who are influenced (and some are the creators of) "power puff girls", "dexter's lab", "foster's home for imaginary friends" and even "my life as a teenage robot".

Can't really explain what is in the show that attracts a strong male audience, it just does, and still growing.

There's a large rule34 database on anything popular, I've seen some of the disturbing ones, and based on all the "guro" I've seen in the chans, it's not the worst.

You should watch some of it at least and judge for yourself. Since Thundercats and Transformers Prime is on hiatus, there really isn't much western cartoons with good stories out there.

Anyway, I'm really curious about this phenomenon and it may lead to some insight on what is popular.

So even though I have yet to watch more than the first 2 5 episodes (AKA the pilot), I think I can say that ponies have my full support. Why?
