I just read this manga as far as its translated (which is up to chapter 127) and I love it soo much! I was completely able to relate to the characters and the story is credible.
The art is amazing too.
I would seriously advise you read it!
here is the link.

is anything special going to happen? i read the first twenty pages only to find out this starts like every manga ever.
really, really cliché standard manga story so far. new girl moves to live with the boy. boy doesn't like girl at first but i'd wager my soul he does fall in love with her later, but there's also his childhood friend or crush or whatever whom he also likes and he can't decide.

of course i can't judge too much from just 20 pages.

will it be exactly that or is something new happening that makes this manga unique or "the best manga of all the time" ?

Best is in the taste of the beholder.

I am nitpicking, but I cannot agree with this statement.

Samurai Champloo started very differently from. Elfen Lied didn't start like that, though it did start to get like that. Yu Yu Hakusho didn't start like that. Dragon Ball didn't start like that, lol.

I'm just naming good manga that didn't start like that. Juuust can't agree with that statement.

I'm sorta hooked. Too busy reading the "Days of Our Lives" scenarios in Air Gear...and there is school keeping me busy. I'll definitively come back to this manga soon.

I read first 2 chapters and I found it a bit generic for my taste.

wishy-washy boy + school + lots of girls who likes the boy for no apparent reason = generic manga

If you enjoy those kind of mangas, you might like "GE - Good Ending", it has 2 of the above mentioned ingredients but has more "depth".
