So, your favourite novel genre? Specific titles would be good, too. I'm reading "Leviathan" by Scott Westerfeld as we speak. It's great, and it's science fiction, set in a semi-steam-punk alternate history. And you?

A book I've read recently that I really loved was "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. Post-Apocalyptic at its best.
Other than that, I really love dystopian novels. "1984" probably stands as one of the best books I've ever read. George Orwell rocks :)

I wiki-ed feed.. ended up on some sort of a book about future American government impanting 'feed chips' on the residents.. no zombies though. Is this what you're reading? Because this seems interesting, albeit very dark. Too dark for my taste, actually. But most certainly interesting.

Soon(as soon as my library sends it to moi) I will be reading Tai-Pan. A book set in old times China. It is written by James Clavell, a famous author, of no small repute.

I normally read fantasy novels, and more specifically, medieval-ish-themed fantasy novels. Swords and magic, basically.

Just finished reading The Black Prism by Brent Weeks. Great book, but sadly, the rest of the series has yet to be written.

Currently reading The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan.

The books i read would generally be considered "self-help" but I prefer to call them human psychology studies.

What's Tai-Pan about? I'm curious, as in my locality "Taipan" is a famous Chinese dim-sum restaurant famous for its.. dim-sum. And desserts. Very much well-known all over town, and likewise crowded as well. Especially weekends, and special festivities or occasions. Especially Chinese festivities and occasions.
