You know the quest where you first meet the lagiacrus, "Guts, Thats whats for dinner"? The lagiacrus is still there no matter when you take the quest, and I have made him flinch before. I am not completely sure, but I believe he has lower attack than a normal lagiacrus, thus making him an easier monster to fight. One question then, is it possible to kill this lagiacrus, or does it have infinte (Or a ridiculous amount of) HP? If you could kill this lagiacrus before say... barroth, would you not have access to an early and easier lagiacrus than before?

I just slashes at it for 20minutes with full Vangis and Dark Claw Demise. So yeah, I don't think you can kill it >_>

I literally landed 100 full spirit combos, and tripped it like 25 times whilst it was exhausted on land >_> THAT IS ONE SUPER LAGI

After some research, I learned that you cannnot kill it, but it will drop shinies and it's tail can be cut and carved. This might be a good system if you want an early bowgun part or something, but not for an armor set.

My friend went in there with hacks and he couldn't kill it. I'm pretty damned sure it's unbeatable.

You can get it to limping and you can break everything. It also drops shinies. Here is a theory. Once it hits limping stage it is considered dead but it doesn't react to death like other monsters do. It just keeps dying every time you hit it, but because the coding prevents the monster from changing it's status to dead, it does not die even if it has 0 health.

Maybe I'll try to go in there with monster info enabled. See what HP it sits at.

I highly doubt that will work, just somehow...

"Tri"ed. It didn't work. The only thing I can think of is hacking so you can capture it immediately.
