Because I'm an idiot I decided I would get White Fatalis Z armour.

Turns out the guy I normally played with wasn't available as much as I thought....so had to grind that puppy down

SO Equip set (most important aspect tbh):
Black Bow G
Kirin Horn X
Hermitaur Vest Z
Kirin Gloves X
Hermitaur Coat Z
Kirin Boots S
+ Bombadierx2 and Gutsx2 and 'more guts'x1 jewels
Giving you...
Guts
Bomber
Element Attack up
And you look super g*y which is obviously a bonus
(if you dont have the kit, cat head and any Guts combo will do but be slower)

Equip Set:
Maximum Bombs
All books
All charms
Equipment to make maximum number of extra bombs
You know food/healing and stuff


And all you do....Constantly max charge the bow through the fatalis from middle distance until he gets to armoured mode....
When he goes up for the comedy Lightning attack 'move', run about try not to get hit twice in a row by the lightning (very rarely this happens and guts will stop the one shot death)
If you have got hit heal over 60% (so guts saves you next time)
As he comes back to land put down as many bombs as you can (he always lands in exactly the same spot)
Back up - as he lands set them off with the bow

You'll then flee him in the time frame 3-4 times and kill him when he is down to the (6000HP if memory serves) minimum he starts on simples

WARNING - DOES GIVE YOU RSI!

White Fatalis is pretty easy for me
I use any armor resistant to thunder and dragon, normally kirin and rajang type of armor, G rank if needed. Then, the first two rounds: bow, last two round: Gunlance - World's End

lots of bombs, he's the only monster I use to calculate moves, cause he has a pattern when he calls lightning, I use the tiles on the floor as a "thunder prediction calculator" and no where is a safe place, when he is on the top of the tower, I run east *north is facing the top tower he lands on* not the safest place for some, but calculate it, its a pretty safe place. just run and hit the X button when he does his second type of tower cry thingy. (there are three versions of him calling upon lightning when he is up there)

Some mix of ssp, hermiZ/lavaX gemmed for guts, gunnery king, sharp skill inc, ESP
For the kill. Usually late 3rd with bombs or early 4th round without. Depends how aggressive I can force him into armor mode on the second round.

Yeah I only gl or gs white fatty, cause I can't hammer him for some reason. (I can hammer black and crimson tho >_<)

I always struggled with GunLance, pretty comfortable with everything else except HH and there aren't many other safe options for melee outside of GL for white fatty.
When you say early 4th round what are you talking 10mins? his HP resets to 6k even if you were down to single figures in the 3rd

I don't have hphack, but yeah around 12-15min on the fourth round, usually.

I noticed too shelling at his chest (so arms, wings, and neck take damage as well as chest) cuts down the rounds.

I DS all my Fatalis'. Not many of them though. Just sling on the Azure Dual Swords and DD the legs repeatedly.

Bombs + IOTG (non-G) when it goes into armor mode. I haven't got IOTG (G) yet.

I just put on set that has bomber, gunnery king and load up, take Corn GL (believe it or not, this thing has strongest shelling amongst GL) and then I do upstab and shell, upstab and shell as hell, when he flies away I put bombs where he lands and blow them up with wyvern fire.
Full White Fatalis Z set looks pretty cool, its shame that p3rd doesnt have anything like this.

It's faster to do the download one, if you can. ~45 mins to beat it is much preferable to 25+25+25+15 mins for the regular one...

Use ESP unless you want ur weapon to be bouncing off everywhere

That set I posted (ssp, Cean u/u/z/z) doesn't need a weapon slot. And used with KAS or gaoren cleaver usually does the job.

And Athena is right, dlc for faster kills. Unless you specifically need face breaks or wing breaks.
