You know I thought I was going to hate it in MH tri with the underwater part, but I enjoyed it up until HR4 or 5 then it went down hill form new and amusing, it was better than most action game's swimming styles.
I'm kinda glad it's not in, kinda bummed it isn't.

Just wondering though is the tweak of Lance in MH3 was too good?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you are referring to how they updated the lance moves, then yes, the tweaks are quite nice. The counter hit is great, although it takes a bit to get used to. The sideswipe makes for a good crowd control move, and the short dash while guarding can get you out of trouble. The shield bash from the dash, however is a pain to judge in terms of distance. Took me forever to KO a kelbi for its horns early on in the offline missions.

"Run at this rock formation 5000 different ways to test if the clipping is working properly."
The new MH game looks rather colourful and with some cool environmental effects. I liked the falling leaves when the guy was fighting something in the water area.

1. lol
2. Yes, I too liked that part. Although that bear monster seemed rather...stupid. But autumn forests is an environment I've been wanting for a long time now.

i think it looked dumb 'cause they were testing his "turn-back-and-attack" move, look carefully and you'll notice that the tester was always running for his back and using the Longsword stab, i guess short-ranged attacks would probably be caught by that counter =x well, at least, i think this way xD
