There seem to be more people than me who play demons souls here, this thread is for people who play it to discuss it, and for pvpers to share tips and strategies, and arrange fights.

Played it alot before tri.

Favorite build was my Faith one. All my character are in the SL115-125 range.

I tried almost everything and I keep coming back to my faith. Only build that can kill me is the dual katana dex and blueblood sword one if he can stun me. Using almost every weapon blessed, usually a slow one like great axe and back up fast one like mirdan hammer.

I have three characters: BBS, Faith, and Strength

I use my Strength one more often as I have less spells and buffs to worry about when using him.

i have a really fucked up sense of honor. there are some weapons and tactics i wont use. i dont want there to be any doubt that i am better than someone if i beat them. the build i have with the most wins is borderline gimped, to be honest. im working on a new build that could be either amazing or total shit...

Hi, I just bought a copy of Demon's Souls today and i'm really enjoying this game! This game makes me remember some of the techniques used in MH and since I don't play MH anymore, I'm a bit rusty. It's a kick in the nuts everytime I die. >.<

Any cool tips for newbies?

just learn where the ennemi are. Then it will be easy

Starting as a Temple Knight or Royal is also a good idea.

I started out as a wanderer.

I was just wondering: After unlocking the different arches, can I beat each world in no particular order or is there some sort of backtracking to do?

Ah, the feeling of white-hot fury because of a game is here again and I love it! I got a pure black world tendency in world 1-1 and 1-2 before I beat the Tower Knight!

Well, I wanted to make a Dual Katana character, dex type, samurai/ninja ~ish. But it seems like it's not a good first character from what I see in the wiki and some vids.

I see high vit characters wielding large swords a lot.

Quick question: Is it actually possible for a non-magic, non-miracle user to quickly farm a pure bladestone in the first playthrough? Any tips?

Weapon is a meat cleaver, and i forget the stats, lol. I posted the general build I was using over at the DSWiki, under the name of CenturySC.

Yeah, I realized it was the the Meat Cleaver after I crafted one.

I was like "wtf?!?!" at the final battle. >.<
I'm making a new character now, a BBS rush build.

I'm currently making a Dex character and have already finished the game under 3 hours with it. Dex characters are hard as hell to start with, not sure why. I still prefer the golfswing and the awesome-ry of the Great Swords...
