Just out curiosity, has any of you guys marry someone in Skyrim?

Me I married Shahvee, I really like her personality. She chooses to focus only on the good aspects of life and remains optimistic despite the current state of the world.

I've got married on several of my files.

I tend to only marry girls (even as a female character) as I think all the males are silly-looking. Usually, I marry Ysolda or Sygjlia (or something like that) :D

I've gotten married on two of my files, once to Mjoll without issue and once to Ysolda with which immediately after the ceremony she disappeared off the face of the planet never to be found again.

On my latest file I got married to Ysolda but immediately after coming out of the chapel in Riften, I spotted Ingun Black-Briar and I instantly wanted to marry her too. Unfortunately, I hadn't got another save file to reload and you can't re-marry on the same file so I was screwed :(

Also, that Skyrim: Sneaking video is absolutely spot on. Not to mention hilarious, too!

So, I beat the final boss. It was kind of a joke. OK, it was totally a joke, as just previously I went and got my smithing to 100 and made myself some gear with, y'know, actual defense. Seriously, from unsmithed Glass armor with a circlet, I went to full, improved Dragonscale... and my defense went up by a factor of 6.

The Draugr Deathlords at Skuldafn still nearly killed me multiple times. See: Draugr Deathlord with Ebony Bow x6. Each arrow takes off something like a fifth of my health.

I finally finished blackreach. 30 crimson nirnroots were hellish and the amount of random stuff I found, like a dragon.
Soo finally learned Dragonrend maybe time to take a break from main story again.
Level 52 now, and was almost destroyed by Alduin for some reason.....

I just found out that vampirism + the necromage perk boosts all of your magical effects by 25%, since you count as "undead." This means that all of your armor enchantments will be 25% stronger, Restoration spells will heal you 25% more, and Conjuration spells will last 25% longer. Not sure about the Stoneflesh spells and their ilk, but I assume they're both stronger and last longer too.

Just thought I'd share. :)

Yeah. Too bad Vampirism is kinda useless aside from that.

OK, maybe not all _that_ useless, but I think the cost outweighs the benefit.

EDIT: Anyone can tell me how justified it is to put perks into the alchemy tree?

If they improve vampire abilities in an add on and give something fricken awesome, like I don't know being able to fly or have some more combat abilities that aren't powers they might be well worth it.
I saw what hatter said on a vampire build on youtube.

Yeah; right now, Vampiric Drain is a joke. 5 points of lifesteal per second? Please, that's less damage than Sparks.

It's not bad for thieves and assassins, since it powers up your sneak and illusion spells, but the stat penalty in sunlight and the weakness to fire are rather annoying. But yeah, the spells and powers alone are definitely not worth it. If it wasn't for the necromage bonus, I would never even consider being a vampire.

It's not like sneaking with a level 100 Sneak and muffled boots is difficult, now. Illusion spells are decent, but you don't really spam them, either. And Powers are easy to forget to use.

I'm not saying it's horrendous, mind; just that I firmly believe it's a bad choice.

But powers are only once a day so it's kinda not worth it.
Like the werewolf power is once a day unless you have hircine's ring where it's unlimited.
There should be a way made that being a vampire isn't so much of a downer.

Like, for example, while you are weakened in sunlight, at night you get +15/30/45/60 to all of your stats and they regenerate slightly faster as well?

You get WHAT to all your stats? Seriously?

How do you overcome the sunlight debuff, though?
