Your most EPIC moment.

The moment which caused hair to grow on your chest and a beard on your chin, yes even when you are a girl.
(at least I left something going along with brass and a set of round objects out...)
Tell me what your most epic moment was, which caused you to look on what you just did and say:
Daymn I! AM! AWESOME!.
Heinous things that followed need not be listed, please.
For me, it was my first solo-akantor.
Not a big deal I know, but man it made me feel good.
Especially since I had no kitty-cat with me and I abstained from using any flash bombs at all.
I used my favorite lance, my beetle armor (because I like the way it looks) and that's it equipment wise.
Now, the epic part wasn't that I didn't die or that it was my first solo-aka, but rather that last strike I landed.
After fighting for such a long time, and PWNING aka, no less, I became careless however and he landed a few devastating hits, decimating my health to a very small amount.
Now, after recovering from a near fatal blow, I decided that it had to be NOW or NEVER ( actually, I probably thought something along the lines of "Aww what the hell, why not, for the lulz") and prepared for my final strike (which of course I didn't know this would be).
I looked the Akantor right in the eyes, his cold, unfeeling eyes, filled with a beastly rage, a rage which threatened to devour all that stood in it's way.
I looked into those eyes and declared:
"With my next strike, this battle shall be decided, foul beast, let this be over and let only one of us see the clear blue sky of tomorrow"
As if he had understood me, the beast charged at me, and charge at him twas what I did. We charged at each other, yelling at the top of our lungs knowing, that this would be our final confrontation.
During my charge, I looked up and saw in the beasts eyes something which I still don't understand, but which I have taken for ... respect. I believe that in that last instant before we collided, the monster accepted me as an equals. I said my last prayer, but instead of an amen, I trust my lance right at my foe.
I felt a terrible power shaking the very earth we stood on, and I held on to my lance for dear live. I felt the lance encounter resistance and I used up all of the power I had left to push it just a few last inches.
When I opened my eyes again, I saw the monster in front of me, slain.
The eyes did not glow anymore, the unworldly life had left them.
I stood in front of my adversary's corpse and took a moment to honour him.
The armor I created from his remains I still use today.
This might not be an entirely accurate representation of all the facts and is just my recollection of how it happened.
At least I think this is how it happened.
Anyone else wants to share?

I've got a good one, though it won't be near the literary masterpiece of your post.
The fight was in the desert with a Plum Daimyo Hermitaur, I with a great sword. (Tigrex Supreme Sword) My cat is on the other side and gets smacked by an attack. While the crab turns to face me, I unleash a Level 3 charge to its face.
The beast buckles. I think I've got some time for a free hit, so I pop a power pill, and ready another charge.
He stands up sooner than I planned, (it was just a small buckle) and begins charging the double claw "hug attack" of his own.
Time slows. Do I let my charge go early and hope I can get out of the way in time after my attack? Or go I follow through for optimum damage, trade hits and hope I have enough life to survive his claws?
Seconds feel like minutes as I'm motionless with my sword, and the crab motionless with his claws out to his sides.
The 3rd glow starts and I release the button. As my blade falls, his claws start to move.
Objective cleared appears on the screen, and the crab screams.
A hearty satisfying laugh followed. That was the day where a hunter was faster than a Plum Daimyo Hermitaur.

See what you did thare.
My most epic moment probably was when it was me, devoid of potions and cold drink, vs. a very weakend Crimson Fatalis who kept flying... I won.

You've never broke the head crystal of a g rank or nekoht gypsy?
When he tries to flash, poison farts come out from under him instead of a flash.

Nooooo. I've never done that before, I usually go straight for the tail. Cause before I started loving lance so much, I used Longsword, so I went straight for it. xD I'll go for it's head now. >

The Silver Sol was staring at me in the air while he was about to shoot some fireballs and then I looked at him eye to eye and started to charge my pierce bow. When he was about to shoot the fireball, I released my arrow and it hit him first then his fireball hit me but I was alive. To my surprise when he fell down, "Objective Cleared!" lol... I therefore came to a conclusion that a flying monster falling down from an attack receives extra damage from it lol!

In MHF2: When I killed my first(and only, so far) White Fatalis, with around(under I think) ten seconds left on the clock...
In MHFU: Killing the Gold Super Rajang in G**. I was planning on getting all of the G Rank Fatalis, but my save got corrupted and I don't fell like wasting another 200 hours just to get back up to the Fatalis' and then waste another 200 hours killing them all...
Those are my current epic moments...except for MH Tri, that is...

Yeah, it's the gun that maxes at 276 attack. Yes, I was naive/crazy. Yes, Black Gravios Rage Sweeping/Beam OHKOes. Yes, I had to go back to camp to fetch the bombs and the spare Normal 2.
Yes, I won. I had 31 seconds left on the clock.
