1) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Do the impossible
See the invisible
ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH
Touch the untouchable
Break the unbreakable
ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH
2) Spice and Wolf
I love this series so much, I cannot do it justice. Suffice it to say that while it might be a bit slow at times, it manages to make Economics an engaging plot device and when protagonists Holo and Lawrence get in a fight, you feel genuinely upset.
3) High School of the Dead
Alternate title: "Fanservice and Zombies". Taking place in modern day Japan, protagonist Komuro Takashi is your standard "angsty underachieving normal high school student" when the world goes to Hell in a zombie apocalypse. He quickly becomes "Grade-A Badass" when he realizes he's in danger and figures out he needs to get his (ex)girlfriend and her boyfriend (his best friend) to safety. They quickly unite with more student survivors and one very ditzy school nurse and become one of the greatest forces of zombie-shitwreckery ever seen.
Not something you should watch in polite company as there is VERY graphic fanservice in nearly every single scene, as well as strong violence and lots of swearing as befitting for a world with flesh eating corpses attacking people.
4) Nichijou
Superultragreatdeliciouswonderfulbad.
The sheer, off the wall what-the-fuckery is enough to make this series worth watching. In addition to it's just absolute silliness the characters are goofy and likable and there are quite a few rather touching moments.
5) Shinryaku! Ika Musume (Invade! Squid Girl)
The invader comes from the bottom of the sea! Hope you like stupid sea life puns, because you're in for a lot of them. The series is about the misadventures of Squid Girl as she futilely attempts to "invade the surface and conquer humanity" and instead ends up working as a waitress in a beach house to pay for breaking a hole in the wall. Lots of comedy, silliness and like Nichijou, a few just little sweet bits that make you go, "Dawwwwwww".
OOPS THAT'S ALL THE SERIES I'VE WATCHED BETTER GO WATCH SOME MORE LOLZ

My favorite anime, until the end of SS saga, then i only followed manga.
2.- Nichijou:
A real WTF series, i sometimes questioned my sanity for keeping seeing it.
3.- Death Note:
Awesome
4.- Code Geass:
death note with mechas, also <3 C.C.
5.- A kite:
Really messed up, great sick story.
6.- Clannad:
Seriously this thing made me fkin cry, i didn't even cry when my dog died
7.- Bounen no Xam'd
I liked this one a lot, reminded me eureka seven.
8.- Tengen toppa gurren laggan:
GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!!
9.- Fullmetal Alchemist (both versions)
Simply one of the best animes/manga ever existed.
10.- Mezzo (Forte)
I'm not really sure why i liked it, has weird characters and a simple story, though i find it entertaining, forte is just a plain adult anime

2) Gintama - currently my all-time fave JUMP anime/manga, not like the typical shounen genre you would see in most shows, intense comedy that'll kill you laughing but at the same time pure awesomeness when things get serious
3) Fate/Zero - big difference compared to how things went in Fate/Stay Night IMHO, seeing a completely different (but way better) character of Saber and truly an epic prequel. pretty accurate with the novel, a must-watch for TYPE MOON fans who read this
4) Honey & Clover - one of the few Joseis I've watched, situations where college students like me might relate to especially when it comes to love. Great balance in both hunour and drama
5) Clannad - truly a tear-jerker, the first anime to bring tears in my eyes. It may seem like another harem anime but it's not. No surprise seeing a few people having this in their list
6) Last Exile - One of Gonzo's best anime, its story defines epicness in it. Great pacing and awesome story, the use of CG is quite promising.
7) Nodame Cantabile - an inspiring anime for both romance and music. It got me more interested in appreciating classical music and the way how two people in love, play a big role in each other's way to success something to see
8) Durarara!! - has full of twists and mystery that makes it interesting. Love the way that we see the point of views of many characters, being protagonists in their own scenarios
Can't think of anything for the 9th and 10th yet, might add them later
