So you know how it is, you hop into one of the cities, looking for a random hunting party. A new hunter enters with a nice set-up, and all of a sudden you have the perfect party. So write a thank you to that one guy you always love to see in your party.
Dear bowgun-guy,
Sometimes I look at my group and think "man, we need some variety." Thats where you come in bowgun-guy. Sure, maybe your defense isn't as high as the rest of us, but you don't care. You've brought along 18 different types of shells, and you intend on using all of them. When we go out hunting, it doesn't matter where we are or what we're hunting; you already know what your going to do. You're going to sit behind us and shoot piercing shells through that wyvern until parts of it are falling off. Some people tell me that your cheap and that you only use the bowgun so you don't get hit. Don't listen to them bowgun-guy, they don't know you like I do. When I got knocked on my ass by that Ratholos, they didn't shoot me with a healing shell; you did. So I just want to say, thanks bowgun-guy. Thanks for being awesome.
Love, Flaxfire.

Haha, I quite like this idea!
"Dear Potion-User,
I appreciate that you know how to use Potions and heal yourself in general. I wish more people were like you. You know exactly when to drop out of the fight and heal yourself. You are determined to not die or attack like a mindless fool.
Thank you for using the best item in the game -- the Potion."

Dear Retreater:
Thank you very much for knowing exactly when to bail out and avoid costing us a reward reduction. Whether it be to sharpen or heal, you know that sitting there while the monster is attacking will only inconvenience the rest of the team if (and when) you get hit and die.

I never cared about justice and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!

Dear Incredibly High Ranked player who's playing with me, a low-ranked player:
Could I beat that Lagiacrus by myself? Yeah, probably. But you've got a full set of Jho+ armor and you just want to use it. You don't care that your HR is 117 and mine is 20. You just want to play. And that makes you awesome.
Love, Flaxfire

Dear tactically minded individuals,
Thank you for having the common sense to attack the legs or tail when I KO with a hammer, aim for the Diablos' tail/weak spot when his horns get stuck, attack Barrioth's wings first, wait for me to wake up a sleeping monster with a level 3 great sword swing, focus on Alatreon's horns when his horns get stuck, and bring dung bombs to an Ibirujo fight. You make this game so much more fun with your actions, keep being awesome.
Sincerely, McButter
P.S. Thanks for kicking me when I get KO'd/roar'd/sleep'd

Dear Guy with a sense of humor,
Thanks for being there to laugh and make jokes when I do something stupid, mess around, or even tell a joke myself. You never fail to say the right thing at the right moment to cause our entire party to burst out laughing even at the expense of causing us to lose focus, but that's why we love you. You keep the game a lot more light-hearted and we need more people like you who remember that this game is in fact just that, a game.

When life gives you lemons, don't waste the opportunity to beg for other things as well

Dear Guy Who Works The Devices On The Sandship,
Thank you for knowing how to use the equipment at the right time. My timing kinda sucks, so having you here helps us crush Jhen relatively scot-free.
Dear Lance Savior,
I stop to decide to sharpen at a bad time, and soon Rath is on my tail with a Fireball. My hunting life flashes before my eyes. ChaCha...I've...failed you... And all of a sudden BOOM. Your heroic shield dash right in front of me saves me from my demise and the relentless "T.T's and <.<'s" of my other allies.

I love it when you hit me from behind when I'm about to block a charge. I love taking that damage, and I love even more sharing it with you (since you were right behind me, after all). You really knock me off my feet with your sweeping attacks with that huge range. Your apparent disregard for your teammate's well-being is absolutely stunning. Please, continue to do what you do. It wouldn't be Monster Hunter without you.
Love, kutkurider

Dear silent, yet powerful hunter,
You join my room, we start up a quest and we get thrashed. But you don't automatically leave the room when we fail, you don't abandon at 2 deaths, and you also never say a word. You stick with the quest come hell or high water, even if you're fighting HR20 guys who keep thinking that sonic bombs work on Diablos when he rages. You're like a mute friend; you don't need to offer words of encouragement, because for us, your actions definitely speak louder than your words.
