Prerequisites

- CFW, 3.XX-m33. 4.01-m33 proven to work with fc_3xx.prx (thanks astak)
- Downloaded event quest Devil Diablos in your save game
- Disable / change the default key for any existing plugin using the music Note button. (Thanks HotGamerMum).
- Download this file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0omu1o
It contains all the files you need (Freecheat + a sample quest to test out).

In the event Freecheat isn't working for you, try out Dark Cheat:

It is an English translated FreeCheat.

Steps
1. Unzip the Freecheat folder into the root of your memory stick.

2. Add an entry for the plugin in the seplugins/game.txt file.
If there is no seplugins folder at the root of your memory card, create one along with a game.txt file inside.

3. Enter the recovery menu and activate the freecheat plugin. Hold the R trigger when you switch on your PSP to enter recovery mode.
Then choose Plugins -> and activate ms0:\Freecheat\fc_3xx.prx or fc_371.prx depending on your firmware.

(Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot for this).

4. Start up Monster Hunter 2G, and hold the Music Note button down while you are on the Devil Diablos page.

5. You will be presented with this screen full of Chinese text and options. Don't fret. Follow the instructions on this image:

You will now be presented with a directory with a numberfour.pat file inside. Select the file and there will be a notification to tell you that the patch has been applied.

Press X multiple times to exit from the Freecheat menu.

6. Finally, you are only 1 step away from getting the custom quests ready.

First, if Devil Diablos quest is on your first page, you will need to scroll back and fro to see that the quest has been replaced with the custom one.

VERY IMPORTANT: If the Devil Diablos quest is not on the first page, the quest before it will be replaced with a DUMMY quest. DO NOT TAKE THE DUMMY QUEST.

Now all you need to do is to take the new quest you downloaded, and off you go.

Custom Quest Guide
To use MHFU custom quests follow the great icyisamu's custom quest guide but...
Use the Duel Congalala download quest instead of the Devil Diablos.
You MUST be playing in English to inititate a MHFU custom quest.
Here is an English Freecheat Version in my opinion it's less buggy than Darkcheat.
