To anyone who thinks metalcore/deathcore and nu-metal are actually metal.. They aren't. It's a misconception, mostly influence wise.

If you want metal I can give a ton of suggestions.

Personal favorites being
Warning (Doom Metal)
40 Watt Sun (Warning's Singer's new band - Still Doom)
Count Raven (Ozzy style vocal - Doom)
Witchfinder General (More Doom)
Primordial (Folk/Black Metal)
Burzum (Black)
Menace Ruine (Avant-Garde Black/Drone-Doom)
Electric Wizard (Sludge)
Cough (sludge)
Destruction (Thrash)
Sodom (Thrash)
Voivod (Thrash) I'd highly suggest Nothingface by them
Exumer (thrash)

I never heard any one of your bands except electric wizard. They're stoner metal by the way.

Death core and metal core are hardcore spin offs of heavy and death.

Is it wrong that my favorite song by Nightwish is While Your Lips Are Still Red? The least metal song they have ever released barring the orchestral version of "Nemo"?

I like I wish I was an Angel and Bye Bye Beautiful from Nightwish. Cheesy lyrics though, like Iron Maiden.
And deathcore and metalcore are metal. What can they be put in if they're not?
