CUSTOM QUEST MAKING GUIDE

TOP OPTIONS:
New: Start a new quest. Opens the select which mapbox.
Open: Opens a .PAT file, in other words, opens analready made/half made quest file.
Save: saves over the already saved file.
SaveAs: Saves this quest as a new file.
Clos: Short for Close. Don't select this unlessyou want to remove everything you have done.
Map: Opens up a little map of the place and showssome co-ordinates.
Quit: Closes the quest editor.

QUEST
QuestID: Don't change this or it will not patch overthe "DEVIL DIABLOS" or "GREEN CONGALALA" quest
Lcton: This is the quests selected location. Youcan't change it after being selected so there is no need to even look at it.
Title: Place the quests name here.
Main mons: Type the main monsters in the questhere. Actually you can write anything here but its best to tell people whatmonsters are in the quest.
Sucsscond: What you write here will appear in thequest goals section in the quest information, so normally write stuff like;"defeat main monsters" "deliver 5 iron ore"
Failcond: What you write here does not set theactual fail conditions. Its more quest information so the people playing yourquest will know how you lose the quest.
Client: More quest information. Normally put yourname or the requesters name, but you could really put any thing/ any body inhere.
Details: The last bit of quest information andprobably the least needed but is always good to have. About 2-3 small sentencesfill this box up.
QUESTDATA
Fee: Cost to enter quest.
Rwd: Total money you will receive if you don't dieonce and complete the quest.
RedPerKO: The amount of money lost from the Rwdeach time you die.
Guildpnt: Number of guild points you will receiveif you complete the quest.
Time: The time you have to finish the quest/ beforetime runs out.
Start at: There are only 3 options here; Camp,Random and Special. Selecting Camp will make you start at the Camp SelectingRandom will make you start at a different place every time you start the quest.Special is made for the Special arenas in the maps.
Questtype: There a a fair few options but you onlyneed to worry about the following: hunting ( basic killing a monster ),MultiWyvrn ( epic quests ), Kill[Drge] ( fatalis, made so you can keep damageon the monster if you only repeal it ), gathering and treasure.
Type: Leave this alone at all cost's! This is allyour settings put in number form. changing them will change your quest.
Stars: This is a kind of pointless option but itdoes set the star numbers normally required to unlock this quest.
JoinCond: This controls who can go into the questand with what. You can limit the number of people, types of weapons required,HR lvl required to enter and a few more.
Target: Set the item, monster or other thingrequired to finish the quest ( tressure: number of points, gathering: paw passticket, hunting: monster, special item/gathering: item ) JUST REMEMBER you canonly set 2 targets but each target can have 1-99 required each to finish thequest.
Failure: ACTUALLY set the fail conditions here.

Name: Item name
Qnty: Number of that item in box ( remember to setstuff to only have 5 or 10 if that's all you can carry in your bag. For more ofthat item add and extra one in the name options )
Supplysettng: When the Supply's arrive.
GATHERING:
Loctn BOX ONE: the area in that quest map were youwill place the item
Loctn BOX TWO: Which searching place you areselected on.
Type: The form of obtain your items; gathering,mining, catching, fishing, ect...
Prfit: ???
Pos: The X,Z,Y location for were the itemgathering place is. Don't go adjusting this much because its very hard to getright.
Use: The min and max number of search's you can doin that spot.
Name: Item name
Rate: chance of you obtaining that item whengathering it.

Quality: The type of items you will cut out ofmonsters. E.g. G-class for G-class items, ect...
REWARD
Name: Item name
%: the chance of getting this item out of 100. thetotal of all items togeather must add up to 100% or under.
Qnty: number of that item you will receive if youget it.
ADDREWARD
-AddRwd/Mats- click this to add another selectionbox.
-Delte object- Click this to remove the currantselection box.
Selection: current selection box your on.
Name: item name
Rate: the chance of getting this item out of 100.the total of all items together must add up to 100% or under.
Qnty: number of that item you will receive if youget it.

Difft: Health of monster. This changes dependingon the size of the monster; a big monster will have more health than a smallone.
Size: The size of the monsters ( one size for all), 100% is the normal size of the monster.
Var: The difference available in the size of themonsters; 0 - 15 it could get 15% bigger than what you set, -15 - 25 it couldbe 15% smaller to 25% bigger.

Name: Name of monster.
Strn: The monsters strength/damage. Health is alsochange here as well.
Addt: Ignore this.
Qnty: The number of re-spawns for this monster.
Spcl: Ignore this.
Lctn: Location/Area on the map the monster will beplaced.
X-Pos: The X position of the monster ( normallyuse the one that appears automatically when you open that map )
Z-Pos: The Z position of the monster ( normallyuse the one that appears when you open that map )
Y-Pos: The Y position of the monster ( normallyuse the one that appears automatically when you open that map )
Unkw: ONLY USE THE ONE GIVEN TO YOU WHEN YOU FIRSTOPEN THE MAP
