Skull face Cean u/u/z/z WITH one slot weapon can get s+1, sharp sword and RA+3

Or you can take out the celebrity jewels and gem in evade or guard but downgrade to RA+1

Oh wait that's requires terra parts which is g rank.

Stick with the Cean s until you hit g rank, then the good armor can be made.

can anyone get evade inc, autoreload and elemental up with one weapon slot? - any other gunner skills are welcome

You can get those skills with 1 weapons slot, but you won't get any other skills as well.

can't get on to Athena's ASS... can anyone suggest an armour which gives:

sharpness+1, evade+2, SSI and any other offensive skill - can go three weapon slot.

You could get Guts/Adrenaline +2 with full Fatalis Z, no weapon slots required.

Otherwise, you'll need all 3 weapon slots to get anything else...
Your 4th skill could be:
-ESP or any other piercing skill, eg. Autotracker, Abnormal Status Up...
-Any 5-slot skill (Bomber, Divine Protection...)
-Sharp Sword

For a 3-slot weapon try:

Ceanataur Helm Z
Narga Mail X
Kushala Grip X
Ceanataur Tasset
Ceanataur Greaves Z
with

1x Master Jewel
3x Dodge Jewel
4x Grinder Jewel

Note the low-rank waist piece. You can also use Tasset Z and low-rank Greaves if you prefer.
You get Sharpness +1, Sharpsword, Sharpening Skill Inc, Evade +2, Defence -20.

Oh, and earlier you mentioned my ASS wasn't working for you. Is that because you have a Mac/Linux or is there some problem with it for you?

No. you'd need two weapon slots, or to drop to just Earplugs.

Can't get runner without 3 weapon slots, sorry.
