I just bought Overlord: Dark Legend for the Wii for $4.99, and change...I haven't played it yet, but it looks good.

im kinda down on the video game industry right now and have had a minor-personal-boycott going. basically, im not buying new games (i used to spend a few hundred $ on new games each month). i understand the contriction of saying i just ordere inFamous 2... but that was also a gift (didnt need to share that in the other thread, but now i do, as i look like a hypocrite. hehe)

i have received games as gifts and gift-cards, so its not a hard-core boycott.

anyway...

MHP3 - PSP(6 months of steady play!)
LA Noire - X360(birthday gift)
LEGO Pirate of the caribbean - X360(birthday gift)
Angry Birds - iphone(gift card)
Sworcery brothers -ipad (gift card)
Lord of the Rings Online - PC (i bought a lifetime account two years ago)

a friend lent me a Assassins Creed: Brotherhood on PS3. have that sitting and waiting.

not buying new games all the time is really forcing me to get more out of what i have, which is pretty nice! and not buying any DLC has freed my soul (hows that for an exaggeration?!)

Oh god, Steam sales rock!

Terraria has been set to the back burners for now.

Today I spent a few hours on Magicka, really enjoying it. I figured out a cheap strategy or two and made my way through the first chapter with them. Just as I was starting to think the strategy was overpowered, the enemies started using new tactics that forced me to try new things. The variety of combinations, the vast amount of secret stuffs to find, and the humor make it well worth the money.

Once the sun went down I loaded up S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Hard but fun. I'm enjoying it. Not as scary as I was lead to believe, but I may just not be in far enough. Can't wait to get the mod pack downloaded and installed, makes a huge difference in the graphics.

The piston update got me back into Minecraft a bit. Currently searching for clay to finish my new building.

I'm playing it through also for the 2nd time technically (nearly finished it).
It doesn't get scary till you go to the labs.

In one part I was concentrating and Mel jumped out and shouted "boo".
I nearly had a heart attack.

I think I'm going to play the 3rd game next and skip the 2nd till later as the reviews were meh for it.

Dragon Quest 9. I beat story mode, but have only just breached the surface of Treasure Hunting, Grotto crawling and Legacy Bosses. I've fought Baramos a bit, and I found my first Grotto that has Moai Minstrels in it just the other day so now I finally have the Luminary vocation unlocked. This Grotto also has Metal King Slimes so I'm pretty happy with it. My exp grinding just got a little bit easier ~♥

Loving this game.

Same here. About to take on the thirteenth colossus. Game looks great. Haven't touched ICO yet. Don't think I'll have time to beat it before Dark Souls comes out. =\
