That's actually sort of what I had in mind for the second season. Didn't expect Stocking to turn out like that though. :mellow:

But yeah, WTF!? FTW!!! O_e

EDIT: And that's another thing I don't understand. I mean, I know the show was full of ridiculous, impossible things. Like how they turned into zombies and it never told us how they turned back. But how can Stocking be a demon!? Even if she could change her appearance like Scanty and Kneesocks can, she still does the angel-style transformation, still kills ghosts instead of supercharging them, and even called those giant legs from heaven "Mom?"

Not to mention that she actually went to heaven after getting enough heavens (the coins). It just doesn't make any sense!

GAINAX might have some dues ex machina explanation.

But I think I have a theory

Stocking's teleportation to heaven was intercepted by Corset, during which he brainwashed her or had her possessed by somthing but most likely brainwashing, anyway Corset made it so that if his plan fails, he will have a back-up plan to fall back too. I mean he knew where another sealed ghost was after all. So yeah this is my theory


...Also hoping that Scanty & Kneesocks join Garter and Brief's side to get back at Corset. but just hoping for more Kneesocks in general, I just love her :D

Brief is a beast and Garterbelt is absolutely hilarious and a badass.

As for the "Stocking I'M ACTUALLY A DEMON, LOL" I THINK, it's a fake Stocking. The REAL Stocking is still in Heaven, gorging herself on sweets, and Corset summoned up a demon to pose as Stocking to pull this off.

Why he'd have fake-Stocking defeat him and seal the super ghost first eludes me, but saner villanis have had crazier plans, so whattya gonna do?
