Gravios is HARD!!!

I hate fighting Gravios when it charges into tight spots. Its large size leaves me little room to maneuver and I find it impossible to evade. It doesn't help that all of its moves really hurt too. Even when I try to keep some distance between myself and Gravios, it still gets me when it fires its hot jet and sweeps it across the floor. I have also become more cautious about its nasty habit of leaving the area then assaulting me from behind when I go after it.
I'm frustrated. How do I overcome this monster?

Soooo, i take it your referring to black grav?
Well, i cant help you on the sweeper beam other than roll through it.
Before i offer any more advice, what weapon are you trying to kill it with/ feel the most comfortable fighting it with?

If it charges, run (Lbg) or roll (HBG) right until you're out of the way. If it beams - I'm assuming you're doing the low-rank Gravios (making Lobster Gun a good choice) then makes sure you're not in the way and blast away. If it walks towards you just run/roll away.
High and G rank colour Gravios use a sweeping beam - if you're on Gravios' right just roll right and it should put you out of the way.

Target the tummy, and use bombs+ too. I've used traps as well to do more damage against that belly.
Element makes a big difference too, especially Black Gravios. I've noticed that every weapon tree has at least once branch with a uber water weapon.
Utilize it for the Gravios!!

Everytime.
Eraser is the Terra Shogun Bow btw
Also for the sweeper beams id suggest sticking to your Right (the gravios's left)on account that he starts on the left and finishs on the right
