i started playing really recently, about a year before alara went out... makes me feel young

i currently sport a lifegain deck in dual games, and a Quest for the Holy Relic/Argentum armor/ weenie deck in solo, which works supprisingly well, i like it...

but yeah, i started recently...

While playing at one of the last FNM's that I went too, I was running a warpworld deck. Jund colours. Anyway, turn 5 I managed to cast warpworld twice for the instant win. The entire room was watching because it was the final match being played and everything waited on what I flipped up.

So much pressure.

Restarted recently, because I'm gay for poison, and they brought it back. It's broken as FUCK. It really is. Before that, I started mainly in onslaught, and my oldest cards are from about 1994.

On the off chance you get back into it, the new poison mechanic(they call it infect now) is SO broken. Basically, the damage infectors do to monsters is permanent, and the damage they do to players is in effect doubled.

Old poison monsters were crap. And there were like 5 of them. Now, you have crap like Skittles the Blight Dragon, which is a 4/4/ flying infector for 3BB, with B-Haste and BB-Regen.

Wow, last post was a while ago. Thread Necro much?

Anyway, do any of you play Magic still? My main deck is a red-blue Scrying Dragon deck. Its not the greatest deck ever, but its fun as hell to play. I also like my Goblin deck, just cuz its fun to watch my opponents get overran by a wave of little pyros. Then there's my Islandwalk deck. Slow as hell tho, but it works wonders in multiplayer matches.

I stopped playing when Gen 4? v4? came out. Waaaaaay before all this stuff you guys are talking about. Iirc, we were getting excited about having dual mana type cards.
