1. Charging when tigrex is charging then release of his head => doesn't work at all its based on how super lucky you are.
2. He goes completely random when he enters rage so wtf I have to do? => Do nothing else I just die in a couple of seconds.
3. Do I really need to set traps to keep him still? => yes cuz else he simply won't stop charging.
WHAT AM I DOING SO WRONG THAT I CANNOT KILL A SIMPLE TIGREX?
(This topic was made when I was very frustrated, been trying to kill tigrex for so long still haven't figured out that I just took the quests I need for urgents. But now i'm stuck at killing 2 tigrexes so i'm kinda screwed atm)
Really someone has to explain me how the heck i kill this bitch without getting killed so many times (or fail...).

1. Youtube videos
2. Try to do the same thing
More information would help but im guessing you are using a GS
Keep trying, don't get hit, hit it till it dies

Tigrex is, to this day, the only monster I trap without the intention to capture.

Have been trying this. All i can see is how a super pro can headlock it while the Tigrex is charging in unrage and rage wich is impossible for me. Because when i'm charge the Tigrex has the option to do 4 things: scream, charge, double bite forward, or trow 3 ballz of doom >,>.
So this guy taht is showing in his video how to chrage attack him is total based on luck.

Also when fighting tigrex in rage mode you should just keep your weapon sheathed and just charge after it does the double jump+taunt

I'm pretty sure that GS might be to slow to start with killing tigrex so I think I use LS maybe speed mathers idk.

Like most of the wyverns, between attacks he does quarter turns to face you. After an attack, space yourself and charge your greatsword at his back, unleash when you're right at his face and quickly roll out of the way. Like a lot of monsters, his head/face is his weak point.
Tigrex in rage (no matter the rank) is NO JOKE. I flash him when he rages, if I have any hope of attacking him without getting smeared. No flashes, I pretty much put my weapon away and run and dive, or leave the map until he calms down.

When Tigrex is enraged, sheath your weapon and dodge until he does 2 jumps in a row. This will be followed by a growl/bite. Begin your GS charge along with the growl and he should be turning just in time to smash his face again. You can kill him solely by sticking to these attacks. Attempting to GS charge him while he is barreling towards you requires expert timing and is not recommended for a serious fight.
If you are indeed doing 'Land of Tremors' I have only a few further pieces of advice for you. The first is obvious: never fight both at the same time. Second: for best luck in keeping them seperated, always farcast home first thing and meet the Tigrex in area 1. Fight him hard there trying to break his face, cut his tail, or at least paint ball him so you can tell the tigrex's apart later. Also if you trap him there just before he's leaving you can throw off their timing further. Third: focus on killing/capturing one first and avoid the other until the first is put down.
good luck

1. Why would you try that? Your supposed to be charging triple charges when hes turning and doing double leaps.
2. Evade his attacks.
3. Be patient. He gives opprotunitys to attack.
edit : Hguols is correct, but it requires specific (not diffucalt, but specific) timing, watch these videos and pay attention to the landmarks in tigrexs behavior he points out (charge as tail is going down, etc).
Watch all of these videos, and attempt it on the tigrex in the training school. The ravagerblade+ they give you will stagger him with one full charge, giving you time to roll away and sheathe.
Goodluck

1) stay close to tigrex, why? easy, when you are close tigrex rarely run... this mean that you can atk him every moment cause he will: spin, bite, double bite, throwing balls, scream, taunt, back jump.
2) correct position to stay close, example:
tigrex attack, you are behind him, when he start turn vs you, you start go right but always close him until you are right in front of his left arm, tiggy will probably spin or bite and you can attack
3) dont be scary to stay very close to tigrex, believe me is more safe stay close instead stay far...
4) practice MOI man... my first MOI in game was the tigrex scream... really important believe me...
5) practice man, try try try try until you destroy him

Slightly harder set, much faster kill time: Full Rajang X (gemmed with AOU) and KAS.

Naked G Ranked runs, now those are fun, good idea to run up behind it as it's charging (Get behind it, and start charging a GS swing as it's recuperating from it's charge attack, by the time it faces you you've got a 3 Charge swing at it's face, It will usually flinch if you have a GS with any power on it. (If not, dodge to YOUR RIGHT (It's left) a few times, and reposition, or take a crack at it's tail/claws) repeat until dead.)
PROTIP: When you take your swing, try to be angled a little bit so that when you dodge, you roll slightly away from the tigrex in case it repositions itself for another attack (So you don't get hit by his claw when he's moving)
ULTRA PROTIP: Instead of dodging AWAY, dodge forward into it's chest so that you only get hit by the small tiny hitbox of it moving forward with the common bite attack, it also positions yourself so you can roll a second time, under IT'S LEFT ARM, and away from it.
