Bugnets in Old Swamp Training? Supply Max Potion in Old Swamp

Yes I'm a noob at G rank training.
Can anyone help? I've looked at the resources on Game FAQ. Apparently SMPs are available from northern bug spot in Area 3. So you need a bugnet - these are apparently at the 'southeast bait' in area, however all i can find are farcasters and a few mining spots!
Where can i get bugnets from?

This should help, but then again, I've found a few gathering spots that are not on the map. Hm, I remember having bugnets in while doing Terra Shogun. I'll have to check where they are in the game.
Btw, could we use this as a (G Rank) Training discussion thread? Because these trainings are quite a pain for me.
Edit: Hm, I can't find them either. Odd. Either I got my bugnets somewhere else or I'm going slowly crazy.

I've just completed all the G-Training quests. My times are all awful but all I wanted to do was complete the quests. Therefore in each mission I looked though the list of items and went and collected as much I could. Lots of extra Mega Potions, Shock Trap, Power Juice. Then went to fight whatever monster was required. I rememeber that against Terra Ceanatuar I just zoned out whenever he entered rage and returned when he was done. It did take a while but better to take 20 mins to do a mission first time then die 10 times trying to get a really fast time. Power Juice is found in area 7 and Shock Trap in area 11. There are lots of Iron Pickaxes about, I tended to get the ones in area 3.
Good luck!

I appreciate that the only time to DD is when he's sprawled on his side, but DD isn't the only reason to demonise - regular attacks get a healthy damage boost as well.
Anyway I've managed to complete it using the max potion - it saved me once when I got water jetted, which i'm sure could have been a OHKO if my health was 100...
Now for lance - might cheap it out using red zinc's suggestions...
Then HH on lavasioth... Did anyone use adrenaline+2? I'm always tempted to use the skills granted in the training quest but adrenaline with lavasioth may be a step too far for me... Bowing copper blango was fine, but lavasioth's sudden hip check gets me sometimes when he's enraged. I know you roll towards the tail, but I'm only human...

No. Just pound away at his legs, don't bother with Adrenaline+2.

Yeah only used it for one or two cowardly hits before healing my life up again...
All g rank training done now except... You've guessed it... Rajang vs gunlance. Does anyone know how to get rajang to constantly lightining ball and jump back? Do you just have to be sort of it under it?

That mission is horrible. It took me days to complete, and then when i did it took me 40 mins to finish. Not sure what to do to force certain moves. As I had never really used the Gunlance before it took me ages to learn how to evade effectivly. Using the running stab attack is a great way of getting out of the way of the beam. There are some videos of people using this.
I also did it the easy way by zoning out during rage mode. Used all the items I could find around. Poison Throwing Knifes, lots of traps and mega potions. At least its over now, won't ever try that again.
Good luck!

done. 35 minutes and all potions (including gathering/mining), two pitfall traps, two base camp trips (one with farcaster). poison knives didn't work. At least I have ambitious piercing, and more importantly another badge on my guild card
