[Kuroi_Tenshi]

Here is a quick tutorial on setting up vent for those who are not familiar with it.

Step 1:

Go to www.ventrilo.com
Downloads and select your client and install.


Step 2:

Once you have it set up create a User Name:


Step 3:

Then input server information. The information in the screenshot is the information you will place into required fields. Ignore the password field.

*Note: The server name Osiris Realm is not needed. You can name the server anything you like.


Step 4:

Once you have access to Vent you will need to go to setup which can be located on the right side of Ventrilo. The setup up in the image is the commmon setup for basic users minus the outbound and inbound settings. This is setup for push to talk but can be switched to voice activated by unchecking the push to talk setting. If you choose to go voice activated you will need to set up the sensitivity to match your desired choice.

It's for anyone who wants to use it. It can be for xlink or just to socialize. I really dont mind what you guys use it for as long as you guys have fun.

i tried to get onto it on tuesday, and had the same problem... must have had not enough people using it...
