I took out my first Daimyo Hermitaur. The fight wasn't too difficult and I had a spectator. (mah girly)
It was the 1 star guild one. I've been lurking about the guild more than the Elder quests...

I really like the extension the flute expert skill gives. I also really like this War Drum, conga made hunting horn. I was able to integrate some songs and activate some skills WHILE fighting..... without getting knocked off my ass!

I'd like to take out the 3star Daimyo, just for the possibility to land a few monster bone+ which could give me access to the bone horn +.... Monster Fluids (bug quests) and Dragon Toadstools (just buy them) which are also needed shouldn't be that hard to land.

I'll have some time to play tonight, as I've got the weekend off! (well, Saturday I'm hitting the gym and have a date, so I may not get to play much Saturday)

Took out the 3Star Daimyo.... as well as the 2Star Guild Khezu. Neither one were very hard.
I'm not interested in the Khezu Horn, but am definitely interested in the Red Khezu one!

I found something very useful....

While running (holding R), pressing triangle and circle at the same time does a starting white note. Very useful! ....considering white to red is attack up.

Anyway, with the aforementioned going from a run to a white/low note, and basically R during any attack does an instant high/red note..... is there a way to do a starting middle/yellow note? I actually don't need it for the time being, but it would be interesting to know.

It's an orgasmic sensation when you KO with recital swing/smash.

The thing everybody should try at least once is to pick a HH. Start a Damiyo quest, find it then enter recital close to it. AND NEVER EVER leave recital mode.

The plan is simple, smash circles around the Damiyo. Turn counter clock wise. Time your hits so that you step between its legs and avoid the side claws.

Best day of your life is guaranteed if successful.
