Basarios Season is crazy, it's one of those quests I hate. I think I got mine from Black Diablos farming, I can never be too sure... at least, I know I have more than enough Hvy Monster Bone.

After researching it a bit more (and having absolutely NO luck with Basarios Season) I found a lot of people have gotten hvy monster bones from capturing G rank Kut-Ku's.
Took a little while, but I got all the bones (and screamers) that I needed to make the Lava Alphorn! The best part is, the only thing I need to upgrade it to the final form is a couple Hvy Gravios Shells!

Don't need a heavenly.... Just need two hvy Gravios shells! ^ _ ^
Thing is, I'm not HR9 yet. I've been putting it off farming for Lavasioth pieces.... Well, that's paid off, and I've got Rathalos to take out, then Yama and I'll be HR9.
I just don't have as much time to play the game as I'd like....
