Yeah but then I found out about hammers, GS and dual blades......

I dont't see the evolution HM= super pound, GS= unsheathe, DS= DD.

The cool thing about HH is that every single one of its moves are important to succeed. And I am fairly concerned about losing the poking in p3rd. Poking was good for additional damage on the side, and more elemental damage.

I know what it's like to exclusively use the Hunting Horn through the whole game; I think the only real problem you'll run into is how fast you can kill something, but maybe I'm just slow anyway.

But yeah, when I first started playing, all my friends had different weapons, and I was told I'd like the HH 'cause it buffs teammates (apparently I was the "white mage" of the bunch?). I tried it out, and being a Zelda fan I was immediately hooked. Soloed most of the game, including Akantor and Ukanlos... The latter of which I kept timing out on, although I don't think I had an Attack Up horn. Ended up winning once I switched to a bomber cat. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Anyway, any concerns about playing songs in battle will be fixed in Portable 3, so if you like Hunting Horns now, just wait till December rolls around.

Are you talking about the Flute Expert skill?

Flute Expert adds one minute to the time limit of all song effects, no matter the original length of the buff.

Interesting! He's using the R recital setup swing as a regular/beginning attack! I'll have to try that out.

I noticed the failed song attempts during a fight. I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that.

I have my bone armor set complete and even put a few sphere's to it. I'll play in the guild when I get the next chance to play and try to knock out a few more quests.... maybe even get to the next urgent....
