My question is that how on earth can I persuade Tigrex from charging 24/7
It's hard to find opportunities to hit Tigrex with a lance but charging after every single unsheate hit I do is just stupid
So how do I make it charge less often and spin more.
PS: I could have asked this in the quick question thread..............yeah

I know what you mean. I know about the staying in his face technique, but quite frankly I pussy out and move away too soon, which means he starts charging. Its about being brave enough to stand in his face and be ready to roll under his left arm if he snap n drags/charges (he sometimes still charges even if you're right in his face). But as I haven't mastered it myself I can't give you better particulars for this technique...

Same idea applies during rage mode when Tigrex sometimes pivots only once. Obviously you just have to be more cautious then and/or force more double-pivots.

Sometimes even if you're doing that, it'll get a mad urge to charge, and will run back and forth for a while. Just sheathe and stay close until it stops, then continue the beating.

Sorry no offense, I didn't mean it like that. XP

Problem now is, I stand right in front of his face 7/10 times he will jump back and then charge....................
This is madness

If he jumps back, and doesn't have the range of his jump cut short by a wall, then you sheathe and run after him. It is a pain when he keeps jumping back, especially the HR9 desert ones, who jump back for miles and are so big it takes ages to catch up with them.

You trying to troll or something? No duh. Listen up, everyone. This is the prime example of how not to troll.
Firstly. Capital letters are a big no-no, especially if the entire message is in caps. This makes you sound like you're screaming. There's less of a chance that your audience will read your troll, defeating the purpose entirely. In cases where typing whole posts in capital letters is banned - there are forums like that - your post may also draw a moderator's attention. Obviously, that's bad - you're trolling, for goodness' sake. If you get banned, suspended, or even just warned, you're on a moderator blacklist and you'll have to tread carefully - even more so than usual - while trolling. In the same vein is the overuse of the "!" sign. Doing so is as much a moderator magnet as posts in all caps - in fact, it's generally more frowned upon. The only way to excuse using all caps is to use them in a long post, then add a footnote at the end: "Sorry, I typed up the entire post before noticing that Caps Lock was on. The post was too long to justify retyping it all, so please excuse the caps."
Secondly, consistency. Look at that post again, people. Focus on the last letter. Tell me, is it consistent with the rest of the post? now it would look wierd if my typing suddenly degraded into bad punctuation and speling right??????????????????? so what is the lesson here??? Please keep the post consistent. The example in my post is excusable, as it was used to put through a point. As a positive example, you'll notice that my entire post, exception of the aforementioned example, has been typed out with precise spelling and grammar. I might also note that only the double open inverted commas (") are used. Regular open inverted commas (') have been meticulously avoided, with the exception of the one in the brackets, there.
Thirdly. This topic has not been posted in for about a week. This isn't really the best example, but a sudden "necro", as it were, is suspicious - especially to a moderator. As previously stated, you don't want to call any more attention to yourself than necessary. Posting in a topic with no replies for a week is excusable if you post on topic, or add something valuable to the topic. Posting junk (I'm sorry for being harsh, but your troll is junk.) in a half-dead topic will put you in moderator sights almost faster than throwing soft tomatoes at them.
Fourthly, content. Your troll is without it. If you want to truly exhibit trolling skills, you have to post actual content that trolls without breaking any rules. Underhanded insults, depending on how sneaky they are, may be excusable, but a truly experienced troll trolls without insults. After all, insults are liable to make people mad, and angry people may start an argument with you. It is worth noting that flaming is against the rules in most - if not all - forums, and in the middle of a flame war is not somewhere a troll should be. The ability to start a flame war between two other people while staying out of the line(s) of fire is a rare skill that I have never encountered. Don't even bother trying to do it - it's harder than doing Child of Destruction naked with Khezu Flute G. No, I don't condone flaming in any form. No, I don't like it when people start flame wars. No, not even if said people started flame wars between two other parties.
A few good things to do while trolling are as follows.
Firstly, proper spelling and grammar. Minor transgressions are fine, as long as they are inconsequential, few and far between. In the same vein, try to avoid phrases such as "lol". Rather, type in out in full (laughing out loud) and, if it sound awkward, rephrase (This has me clutching my sides in laughter). People are more likely to read your post (good troll posts tend to be rather long) if it's easy on the eyes. If people read your post, they have been trolled, even if they don't realise it.
Secondly. There are a number of useful words and phrases that should be in the vocabulary of every troll. Here, I'll introduce you to just one: "In my opinion", sometimes shortened to "IMO" (to me, though, "IMO" will always stand for "International Mathematics Olympiad"). This handy phrase serves as a good backup in case people, shall we say, disagree with your post. You can turn around and hit said people with "Calm down, it's only my opinion." Extra points if you add "I respect that you don't agree with me, but I'd like to keep my own opinion."
Broadening the perspective a bit, a good vocabulary is essential, and the more "big words", so to speak, the better. This includes words whose definitions are well-known, such as "aforementioned", "meticulously", "underhanded", "transgressions", "inconsequential", "extenuating" and "liberally". If you can fit in the word "notwithstanding", you get big style points. As a general rule, anything with four syllables is worth using, provided you can fit it in without it seeming out of place, or worse, used wrongly (a common example would be the word "bemused". It is often taken to mean "amused", but its meaning is more similar to "confused"). In a similar vein is the use of more uncommon, so to speak, synonyms. A good example would be to use "precise" instead of "perfect". Do keep in mind that such substitutions, so to speak, may not always be usable. In some scenarios, "precise" can be used instead of "perfect", but it will not always hold true (notwithstanding extenuating circumstances of true synonyms, so to speak, such as "divine" and "heavenly").
There are a number of phrases you might like to use liberally. The first of these is "so to speak". Using this simple phrase not only makes what you just "said" seem more important, it makes you, the troll, seem more educated. Another example of such a phrase is "In a similar vein". This phrase has a similar effect on the troll (i.e. it makes the troll seem more educated).
This should go without saying, but to be a truly excellent troll, one must have a grasp of the English Language that also is truly excellent. It's also a good idea to stay within the rules when you troll, so that you don't get banned and can continue trolling.
You get style points if you can screw around with (so to speak) a commonly used phrase - note that changing it too drastically is never a good thing to do. For example, "few and far between" is normally seen by itself. If you simply add a single word to make it "inconsequential, few and far between" you are subtly trolling your audience. Providing definitions for everything in non-standard English (examples of phrases, so to speak, in non-standard English are "lol" and "tl;dr") also nets you style points - albeit less than the aforementioned "screwing with common phrases".
Proper paragraphing is also essential - this goes with "proper spelling and grammar" - as it makes your post easier on the eyes. Don't forget, the purpose of a troll post is to be read, and read fully. The longer a paragraph - any paragraph - the more it seems like a "wall of text". Walls of text commonly provoke the reaction "tl;dr" - "too long, didn't read" - and if they "didn't read" you have failed to troll them. Do note that sometimes, even with proper paragraphing, the response "tl;dr" may be provoked - this may be due to the fact that, like this one, your post was too long. A good troll is normally long, but not too long.

Congratulations! You have just read "How to troll a forum 101" by Solyeuse!
EDIT: I forgot to mention. It's normally a good idea to disguise your edit by adding a note at the end of the post with the prefix, so to speak, "EDIT:". This makes it seem that the edit you used to put in the quote bubble was instead used to insert the "EDIT:" note. Always put it at the end - even if you signed off your post

EDIT: Then again, I guess it does kinda reinforce your point that that's how NOT to troll.
