Chaos Wing Frame/ Heavy Bowgun Barrel/ Chaos Wing Stock
Longest range possible in the game, with a good capacity for elements and normal shots. Has a shield.

Rathling Gun+ Frame/ Rathling Gun+ Barrel/ Agnablaster Stock
Along with the proper armor set, this gun can give you a clip of 5 Clust S lv2, which you can fire off without recoil. Perfect for cluster bombing Alatreon's wings. It also has a very high capacity for Flame S.

*Guild Bard Gaiters/Scholar's Sandals can be substituted for any Torso Inc. legs.

An all-around good set that will let you effectively fight any monster? I'll see what I can come up with.

a pierce & normal specialized BG, i use rathling gun for better recoil reduction, and also para lv1
this gun shot all lvl of paralysis
mainly use this on deviljo

-thundacrus rex frame/R.launcher barrel/chaos wing stock or rathling gun stock
this is a set to exterminate uragaan in a breeze, if you are sure your partner is good, you better go with chaos wing stock, if you think you need more paralysis, use rathling gun stock

-blizzard cannon frame/jhen cannon barrel/chaos wing stock
this is your anti alatreon gun, but IT IS NOT IMO, its good for sleep bombing, and packs good amount of dragon S
there is para Slv2 clip, you might be able to para alatreon twice, but after that, that's it

i usually use these guns, haven't found anything noteworthy

i need a gun that shots crags, have massive crag clip % also have all crag lvl
and shots decent amount of normal, or pierce

so far i think, these are the enemy WE SHOULD NEVER gun, but its just me
barioth, lagiacrus, ceadeus, alatreon, jhen moran
these enemy have huge defense on gun damage, based on gunner damage FAQ

The Combination Pro skill doesn't come with the set. I got it from using a talisman. You can get any +10 skill with this set, if you have the right charm/jewels, but anyway, glad you posted this set.

You didn't happen to get that from our old library did you? Because that's one of the first sets I came up with.

If not, then I guess great minds think alike. Too bad we're in different regions.

Once I get that elusive 1 slot +10 combination pro, +3 expert charm I'll have a set that does more per hit then that normal set

Barioth, Lagiacrus, Alatreon, and Jhen Mohran are easy to gun, and take more damage in some hitzones from shot type then cut or impact type.
I havn't tried gunning Ceadeus yet.

my combination pro dont come from a talisman, i use expert +7 O slot and then gem all the armour for combination pro and i need a gun slot too

Normal's 2 deal the most damage per hit. Normals 3 only do more damage if you can land 1 or more of the shards.

The best normal 2 gun is
Chaos Wing/ Jhen Cannon/ Blizzard Cannon. When fully upgraded this beast of a gun has a raw of somewhere around 380, has 1 slot, 10% natural affinity, and it holds 11 Normal 2 before skills.


The best Normal 3 gun is:
Chaos Wing/ Devil's Grin/ Chaos Wing
This gun will hold 11 Normal 3, have a slightly higher raw than the Normal 2 gun, 1 slot, but no affinity.

Well, I just figured that you might like a set that lets you dodge everything while still doing good damage. I'd use a talisman to get Evasion+2 if you can, by the way. Or...if you just so happen to have an Evasion+5, Expert+3 O Talisman (or an Expert+5, Evasion+3 O Talisman) you can get Evasion+2 and Critical Eye+2.

As for a good gun, how about...those two One just suggested. Gotta make those parts myself, actually.

i can and have got the other parts of the, but dont have the scale+ needed for it

Chaos Wing barrel
You keep the same damage but you can load 1 less shot, and I don't think you get the slot either.

Or
Devil's Grin barrel
You get the slot, higher raw, but you lose the natural affinity. Also, Shorter range.
Both of these replacements do not remove all of the deviation from your gun,

if you read it, it does say to use diablozooka as your stock.
